What I'm Loving Wednesday

I haven't done a WILW post in awhile, but I'm glad to be back linking up Jamie.

I'm Loving:

That Jordan is now getting a three-day weekend every week!

 They started going to ten hour days. I'm sure when it warms up I'll lose him to the golf course, but I'm so glad he's getting an extra day off to do what he wants!

I'm Loving:

That it's almost Thanksgiving! I'm not a fan of winter weather but the holidays are such a great time. And it also means that Christmas, our trip to Florida and Spring are right around the corner :-)

I'm Loving:

This Cajun Chicken Pasta I made. It's actually the Pioneer Woman's recipe and you can find it on her website, but I'll definitely post it to the blog soon. It was seriously one of the greatest things ever!

I'm Loving:

That I'm about to start my Christmas shopping. I'm not a procrastinator on this at all, but I'm not one of you people who has it all done in July either. Jordan and I don't usually spend a lot on each other since our anniversary is so close to Christmas and we usually take a trip somewhere. This year, however, we are going to Florida to visit my parents!!! I have no idea what to get Jackson, the kid truly doesn't need a thing.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Whoo hoo, I'm so excited it's Wednesday. It's kind of shaping up to be a long week around our house.

Here's what I'm loving this week:

I'm Loving: The organization going on our my house. While doing this, I've also been inspired to do some deep cleaning.

I'm Loving: This recipe organizor. As much as I would love to have all my recipes on my computer, I just work better if they are printed out and put in a notebook. I plan on doing this soon with a notebook and some cute little dividers.

 I'm Loving: My Paula Deen cookware. I got it last year for Christmas and I'm loving it even more with all the cooking I've been doing lately. I'm hoping to get the red steel stockpot for Christmas (Hint Hint :-)

I'm Also Loving: These looks for Fall

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I can't believe it's already Wednesday again. It seems like we're just flying through September.

I'm Loving: That I got to play Bunco last night with a group of women from our church. Last month was my first time to go and I had such a great time.

I'm Loving: That I got my first fall candle the other day. I'm still holding off on decorating just yet. I haven't really had much time lately, and I want to wait until it's time to get mums and pumpkins. But, we did light it last night and it made me ready for chili and sweaters.

I'm Loving: That Jackson is getting settled in to being at school 4 days a week. The first 2 weeks he was really tired all week, but I think he's getting into the routine. Since he's only there 1/2 days it's a little easier on him too. I have been working a lot of people while they are on vacation at work, but in another few weeks I'll be home more and can take him and pick him up from school every time. 

I'm Loving: These sweet boys, of course!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I haven't done a WILW post in awhile so here goes!

I'm Loving: The Pioneer Woman's new show on Food Network. I just love her. She wears cute things and I think it would be so much fun to have her life.

I'm Loving: That it's getting to be Football season. I'm not much for watching football, but I sure do love to cook and have parties in honor of it :-)

I'm Loving: That I'm finally feeling a bit better after getting over this cold I've had!

I'm Loving: That I got to spend a few days off with Jackson before he started going back to school. I have to be honest, I'm not really thrilled about him going 4 days a week even for 1/2 days. I'm having a really hard time feeling like that is ok. I know it's probably good for him, but he's only two! We're going to try it for awhile and see how it works. He seems to be having a great time, but he's so tired.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm Loving: My new phone I'll be getting on Wednesday. After dropping my iPhone again AND breaking it for the 2nd time in the Otter Box (6th overall) I decided to fix it, sell it and get a new phone. My brother has an HTC phone like this and has dropped it off his motorcycle going down the road at 50 mph. If it can withstand that, I'm hoping it can withstand me!

I'm Loving: Our day today. We got to stay home most of the day, it was rainy and Jackson took a long nap. We got to lay around in our pj's and play with sidewalk chalk. I am reminded of how blessed I am every time I have a day like today.

I'm Loving: The rain we got today. We so needed it around here. There are people in Texas and Oklahoma who need it worse, but I'm thankful we got a little on our yards!

I'm Loving: That my friend Nicki put together a play group and we had our first outing the other day. We all met at her house and let the kids play. Of course I didn't get any pictures though!

That I can feel Fall in the air. I'd like it to be Summer forever, but there's so many great things about cooler weather to look forward to!

It's Wednesday again and here's what I'm loving today!

I'm Loving: The Rain. We were in bad need of rain until today, we still need a bit more but it brought some drought relief and cooler temperatures,

I'm Loving: That I got to have lunch with a high school friend. We have recently started going back to my childhood church, and I am really loving all the connections I've been making again.

I'm Loving: That Jackson has been spending so much time with his cousins lately

I'm Loving: How many new words Jackson is saying every day. He says things I didn't even know that he knew. It's so much fun watching a non verbal, sweet baby turn into a thinking, talking little boy.

I'm Loving that Jordan has an exciting job that he loves!

I'm Loving some of the changes that are going on in our lives recently. I find myself getting anxious, but then remember to just give it to God and let Him work it out

Today was a good day.

I'm Loving:  This boy

He's just getting over having strep throat and is feeling so much better. I'm so glad to have my good boy back.

I'm Loving: Some of Jackson's party favors. His party is coming up this Saturday!

I'm Loving: Summer squash and zucchini that I fried up tonight. I also made the best mashed potatoes tonight from potatoes that my Dad and I grew in his garden!

Happy Wednesday!

I'm Loving: That we didn't have very many storms come our way today like what was predicted. I can't imagine a tornado destroying a third of our town like what happened in Joplin, MO

I'm Loving: That the pool water is finally warm enough to swim!

This was J's first time in the pool this year. He loved his life jacket and even tried laying his head back in the water and floating.

I'm Loving: That this weekend is our family reunion. It's such a fun time to get together with all my Dad's family. There were nine siblings, so we have a huge family. I can't wait to see everyone.

I'm Loving: That this weekend is also Memorial Day weekend. It's great to have a few days off and just hang out. We're supposed to have a pool party at Jordan's grandparents Monday so I hope the water is warm!
