Ava's Nursery....again

Some of you have already seen pictures of Ava's nursery from when I did a post on our new house. However, Kelly's Korner is hosting a Show Us Your Life link up on nurseries, so I thought I would make a separate post.

Her room didn't turn out at all like I had intended it to be. I'm so glad things changed and it came together like it did though.
I originally wanted to do a grey, white and turquoise room with lavender accents, but then we found a perfect chevron pattern fabric that had yellow accents. I still wanted turquoise so I found a way to make it work with the yellow.

Here are some of the finished photos

The grey chevron pattern was ordered online from www.babybedding.com

These are the flowers we made to hang on the tree that my sister-in-law painted. It's made out of all the scrap fabric we had left over. The turquoise is from the curtains and the yellow chevon is fabric I found to make some accent pillows out of.

My sister painted the owl painting and I made the pillow for the chair

I found this perfect fabric at Hancocks.

This is the door hanger I made to take to the hospital when she gets here.

I'm extremely happy with how everything came together! We had a lot of help getting it all done. My mom painted the whole room, my mother-in-law bought all the bedding and my sister-in-law painted that awesome tree.

I can't wait to see more nurseries on Kelly Link up here.
