Winter Wonderland

For most of Christmas day our area of Arkansas was under a blizzard warning. According to the local meteorologist, this has never happened before. They were predicting freezing rain to start falling and then changing over to snow. All together we were supposed to get between 6''-10''.

Wednesday morning we woke up to all this!

The snow had blown in so hard that it was sticking to the north side of everything, poles, trees and even our mailbox.

Work was cancelled for both me and Jordan (because this is Arkansas and we shut down when we have snow) , so after breakfast we bundled up the kids and headed outside.

Jackson enjoyed walking around in it, but when he found out he actually had to touch the snow to make a snow angel he quickly backed out. He doesn't really like anything cold...even ice cream.

We came back in and enjoyed the white stuff from inside...by a fire.

It was a pretty perfect day to be snowed in with my family.
