Lots of Change

It has been awhile since I last posted, and since then there has been a lot of change in our lives. First of all we found a house, made and off, and closed. We also go all moved in and go most everything unpacked. It is really nice to finally be in a home of our own, and a bigger one for that matter. It is so much bigger than our townhouse...and all on one level! After falling down the stairs the first time, I was ready to have a house with no stairs. We have a fenced in back yard, and I can't wait to get to work on the yard this spring!This is a before shot of the kitchen

I will post more pics soon since we now have things hung on the walls and decorated! Being a home owner is wonderful, but makes me nervous at the same time. We are paying the same amount as we were in rent, but I guess just knowing that we have to pay for repairs or anything else that goes wrong with the house is a little scary! It is a little overwhelming having a new baby and a new house, but we are so excited and amazed at how much God has blessed us! We couldn't ask for anything more.

On the baby side of things, we also found out we are having a boy!!!! We are going to name him Jackson Thomas. We both really liked the name Jackson, and we are naming him Thomas after my dad. We have already started shopping and have so many cute clothes. We haven't started on his nursery yet because right now it is full of yard sale stuff. Hopefully after spring break we can get that cleared out and get to painting. I am doing everything in green and brown. We bought the bedding and everything, so I can't wait to get it all out and see what it looks like.
I will also post some ultrasound pics later too. We had one in February and got some great pictures. We are having another one in March just to make sure that he is for sure a boy. As of now we will be getting to meet him sometime in mid-July!

We have had a lot going on in the last few months. It is amazing how much God has blessed us with everything that we need. I couldn't ask for anything more.
